SANlight EVO Growing LEDs - "The top of the EVOlution"

With the EVO series, SANlight puts itself at the top of the evolution chain and presents what is technically possible. Each luminaire of the EVO series is designed for a specific application and performs to the maximum in this environment. Consequently, SANlight is again positioning itself as the leading brand for LED plant luminaires in 2021.

The models of the EVO series

With the new generation, SANlight is launching no less than 9 new Growing - LEDs on the market - these are divided into 3 performance classes as well as being tailored to specific Growbox-Sizes. You can easily cover floor spaces from 60 x 60 cm to 150 x 150 cm with the new LEDs:

EVO 3 with 190 W power

EVO 4 with 250 W power

• 4-80 for 80 x 80 cm

Perfect light control with protective function

The contamination of the LED reduces the light output of your luminaire to a greater extent than the chip aging itself. Luminaires whose LEDs are not protected by a cover noticeably lose light output after only a short period of use.

With the EVO series, SANlight relies on sophisticated three-dimensional secondary optics that capture more than 95% of all photons emitted by the LED chip and direct them to your plants. This minimizes light losses due to e.g. reflection over the tent walls and protects the LED from contamination. The material can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

Passive cooling

Here SANlight again relies on the massive passive cooling aluminum heat sink. Passive cooling maximizes energy efficiency and lifetime and at the same time minimizes error susceptibility, risk and noise level.

Best efficiencies and robust chip technology

The EVO series is state-of-the-art and equipped throughout with high-quality LED chips from well-known and popular manufacturers - with these, a module efficiency of more than 3μmol/s is achieved with a white broadband spectrum. The included mid-power LED chips are extremely insensitive and protected against environmental influences, especially due to the titanium oxide coating. This enables a realistic service life of more than 90,000 hours (LM90).

Daisy chaining of the EVO series

Since there is a wide range of different connection options to choose from, the EVO series is delivered without connection cables. A system tailored to individual needs can be set up using plug & play. If space is limited, the use of angled power supply cables and extensions is recommended. All connection cables are protected against dust and water jets (IP65). The only exception is the mains plug, as the tightness of household sockets cannot be guaranteed. Thus, the complete SANlight system is waterproof and suitable for safe use even in high humidity.

Ready-to-dim

In 2021, SANlight will also add a dimmer: from July 2021, the proven magnetic dimmer will also be available for the EVO series. From August 2021, the app-controlled Bluetooth dimmer for the EVO series will also go on sale.

• SANlight magnetic dimmer: SANlight recommends this dimmer especially for smaller installations up to approx. 10 luminaires. After the dimmer is connected to the luminaire, the luminaire can be dimmed in 20% steps from 100% to 40%. Additionally, it is possible to activate a soft start (simulated sunrise) with the included magnetic key.
• SANlight Bluetooth dimmer (from August 2021): the Bluetooth dimmer is recommended especially for larger installations. Individual exposure groups, can be easily set up and easily dimmed or controlled.

IP65

Each luminaire of the EVO series is IP65 certified. This means the complete luminaire is dustproof and protected against water jets.
